My Philosophy

Diets don’t work—Lifestyle does.

‘Crash’ diets only lead to regaining weight; often more weight is gained than lost. Eat Well CT will coach you through behavioral change and diet modifications to enable new eating patterns and provide permanent results.

Work within the framework of your lifestyle. Small changes equal big results.

Not all of us are gourmet cooks or endurance athletes. At Eat Well CT, we are interested first and foremost in the framework of your life. We pick realistic, achievable goals that will lead to great achievement over time.

Respect yourself and your body.

In our busy lives, we often put our bodies last. A healthy body is loved and respected. We will work together to create bodily awareness and respect through nutritious eating habits.

Love food.

Food shopping and meal preparation is often a stressful chore. At Eat Well CT, we love food and find value in providing our clients with practical instruction. We supply shopping lists, meal plans and recipes to make food purchasing and meal planning as easy and enjoyable as possible.

Eat close to nature.

Research demonstrates we should eat the way our ancestors did, choosing “whole foods” that are as close to their natural form as possible. Following these guidelines, we feel that minimizing processed foods, artificial ingredients and fast foods will promote optimal health and longevity.

Move your body.

Whether a seasoned athlete or a fitness novice, Eat Well CT promotes and supports your activity goals. We recognize your physical abilities and limitations, and will tailor a program that is appropriate to your personal needs.
